The maximum speed of our electric fat bikes is 32km/h. It is the maximum speed allowed for a 500W electric bike without the need of a driving license. 

Q: Do I need a special license to ride the bike?

You don't need a special license or any license at all to ride our electric bikes in North America.

Q: Where are the bikes sourced from?

Our electric fat bikes are sourced from China with a reliable supplier to allow you to get the most competitive prices.

Q: Does my purchase comes with any kind of warranty?

Yes! We provide the supplier warranty on several parts. Make sure to read the warranty details here.

Q: Can I go into bicycles paths with my bike?

Yes of course! You can ride your electric fat bike, on roads, pavement, dirt roads, bicycle paths... Just stay out of highways! ;)

Q: Can I ride it during winter?

Our electric bikes are designed to be ridden during winter thanks to their fat tires and electric motors. You will have no problem getting to your destination under a few inches of snow while the other riders would need to take their cars or public commute! Of course, under heavy snow storms, like with cars, it is very difficult to maneuver. 

Q: Do I need a helmet?

Yes, by law in Canada, electric bikes require the rider to wear a helmet. When driving off road, please wear appropriate gears. Safety first!

Q: What is the maximum range of the battery?

The range of the battery will vary depending on the road slopes, the roads conditions, rider's weight... It can range from 32km up to 60km! Typically, if your daily commute is less than 5km (70% of home to work commutes by cars...) you will need to charge your battery only once a week! How great is that!?

Q: What is the minimum temperature supported by the motor/battery?

Although we provide a winter electric bike, we don't recommend riding under -25 celsius degrees as the capacity of the battery is affected. However, we are working with our supplier to provide new batteries that could work with extreme temperatures. Stay tuned!

Q: Do you ship worldwide?

At the moment, we only ship to North America and free shipping to Montreal Island. As we grow, we will provide options to ship internationally. For more details about shipping, please check our shipping policies.

Q: How do I charge the battery?

To charge the battery of you electric fat bike, please use the charger provided with your bike. You can take out the battery from the bike to charge it at home our at your workplace. A full charge will take up to 6 hours.

Q: What do I do when I have no more battery left?

You pedal! It is still a bike so when you run out of power, you can use the pedals to finish up the ride to your destination and charge the battery there.

Q: Is it safe to ride my electric bike on dirt roads?

Yes, as mentioned above, please use appropriate head gear when riding your electric bike.

Q: What is the maximum load weight of the electric bike?

The maximum load weight of the EzyOne is 120kgs (264lb). Be aware that any damage of the frame or components won't be under the warranty if the load weight has been exceeded.
